Scenic design and stage direction for OperaDelaware, 2015
Peter Brook’s intensification of the opera was my first chance to both direct and design for OperaDelaware.
Four singers, two actors, a plot that sizzles, and a set that moves fast enough to keep up with the action.
A street in Seville to open the show.
Carmen gets all the way to a cell before Jose frees her.

Carmen has a Gypsy husband in the mountains, whom Jose has to kill.
